Bad Dreams Aren’t Necessarily Bad

Bad dreams aren’t necessarily all bad. Bad dreams often signify great shifts in energy and consciousness, whether of your own or within the collective spirit. For example, if you dream of a nuclear bomb going off in your area, it doesn’t necessarily mean that you are having a clairvoyant vision (though this also can happen). Rather, it may be your awareness that you or your loved ones are in the process of having a major energy shift in life: divorce, childbirth, job loss or gain, relocation, spiritual redirection, etc.

There is a great body of work on dream interpretation and analysis, and I encourage anyone who is experiencing particularly vivid dreams to explore the field further. Dream work can be approached simply from a psychological angle, but also metaphysically, when you may sense that your dreams are lucid or are actually remembered astral travels or past-life memories. Dream work also goes hand-in-hand with journalling work. One of my favorite books on journalling is “The New Diary,” by Tristine Rainer, and a great overview on astral travel is “Astral Travel for Beginners” by Richard Webster. Have fun!
